But, I'm probably a little too excited. See, I'm fighting the urge to cheat AGAIN. Except, this time, I promised myself, unlike WriNoNaMo, I won't. Because I don't want to feel yucky when I'm done, like the time when I was six and I bought my dad a pack of Watermelon Bubble Yum (his fave) for his birthday. Then I couldn't resist or wait until his big day. So, I ate a piece and wrapped up the leftover four.
I will have patience this time is my mantra.
In the meantime, I'm researching, prepping, interviewing characters, and reading as much as I can in between holiday hoopla and family stuff. :) Happy Holidays, fellow JaNoWriMoers!

Though... not to tempt you or anything... you CAN start writing, you just can't count these words. Unlike NaNo you can work on an existing project. But, only the words written in January count.
And, yes, I'm laughing about your dad's present! Have you used that in a book yet?
Thanks, Marianne! Yes, you are tempting me.. But, I'll resist.
I don't think I've used the bubble gum story yet.. My dad was not happy with me. :)
Oh, sporty tween novel. I'm very interested. Do you mean sporty as in an actual sport? Girl or boy tween book?
Sorry, I have far too many questions so early along in this journey. It's not even January yet!
Hi, Charity! No problem. Girl (tween) sports book.. My first series SCREWBALL is about a high school freshman who plays softball, deals with mean girls, has a boyfriend, etc... :)
