Checking in... finally

I'm in the same category as many - not enough produced, and spring break STARTS for me this week. It's not going to be much of a distraction, though, as we're not going anywhere and I'm just still helping my mom, etc.

The good news is that I got *some* writing in - about 400 words. It's a start. It's 400 more than I did past the first week of March.

Secondly, I "de-chaosed" today and my work area is, well, workable again, so that will also help.

I just need to get through Easter dinner today and then I think I'm good to start producing again.

Good job! Every new word is one more toward a finished novel. I like your de-chaosing chore, too. I always use the term "dung shuiing" when I find I have to get my office back into some workable state. That's a lot of work for one week--producing an organized work area and 400 words. Excellent!

Nice job! I think you've made great progress. I always think that any word count is good, even if it's less than we hoped for. And you de-cluttered your workspace, which can only lead to many wonderfully productive writing moments.

Hope your week is a good one! :)

That's the attitude! Every word should be celebrated!

And organizing a work space should count for 5000 words. Ugh. Great job!
