Happy V Day!

Things are moving along well and the priority list is working. I finally found something that keeps me focused and it's so simple. Just a list. :)

Basically, every morning I wake up and write before my hubby leaves for work. Some mornings I have an hour, some morning less then a half hour. But, using the time for writing instead of emails, FACEBOOK, and MySpace is proving more productive. And this week, I was able to write close to 2000 words a day and I'm almost finished my WIP. :) Yay!

Happy Valentines Day!

Is anyone doing anything special? I'm stuck at home with an ear infection. I know. An ear infection in my thirties?? :) I thought things like ear infections only struck little ones.

Have a fabulous weekend! :)

Keri, I live for lists. I'm lost without them... so I understand!

And unfortunately, I understand about the ear infections, too. I get them about every three years: nausea, vomiting, dizziness... it's awful.

Hang in there!

That's awesome, Keri (well, not the ear infection part... that stinks). 2000 words a day is terrific!

I think I need to employ your technique. Part of my problem is that I associate the computer with fun and games and goofing off - literally! It's really, REALLY hard for me to sit and WRITE without distraction.

I need to write FIRST, even if it's only for 1/2 an hour...

I'm so sorry about your ear infection. Delighted about the progress! Our Valentine's Day was quiet - ds had his gf over and we made a nice dinner and watched Terry Gilliam's "Baron Munchausen". Not exactly a romantic time, but cozy and pleasant, never the less.

Hi, Marianne! Thanks.. It's gross. :) And you can definitely tell we're both Capricorns. :)

Hi, Joanie! Thanks.. It's working.. :)

Thanks, Ceri!!

Me too, Groovyoldlady! That is exactly my problem. I spent more time on the playing around on the Internet on Facebook, celebrity sites, and MySpace and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting anything done. I treat writing like work and it does the trick. Good luck! ;)

Hi, Jen! Sounds like a perfect day. :)
