I wish I could work on two novels at once, but I can't. I can't even work on a magazine article and a novel at the same time. In fact, sometimes I can barely clean the house, parent, and teach one night a week when I'm in the middle of writing a scene. I think the two sides of my brain fight with each other or something. But, I'm wondering.. How many JaNoWriMos can work on two novels at once? And how do you do it? :)
Happy Saturday! :)

I've worked on a new wip while editing, but it's not easy. I guess it depends on if there's a deadline for the editing. Right when NaNo hit in 2006 I received my editing from Samhain for another manuscript. That had to take priority.
I try to juggle, but I'd rather just concentrate on one wip.
Enjoy the luxury you have of focusing on one thing at a time, and don't worry about anything else. I'm a multi-tasker deluxe, but I never feel I've been able to give enough full attention to anything. So remember that there's always a flip side to everything. Working on more than one thing at a time may feel like you're getting more done at the same time, but working exclusively on one fantastic wip will mean you'll finish that task even faster.
The grass is always greener (laugh)
As excuses go, yours is a good one! And, I can't NOT work on more than one thing at a time... I think I'm ADD or something. I always have more than one thing going at a time and it really helps me with my productivity because when I am blocked on one, I'll work on the other and--for whatever reason--focusing on one tends to loosen up blocks on the other.
But, yeah, I'm weird.
Hi, Ceri! It's not easy, but, I'm going to go it and keep track of my new PINKED words to add to the count.
Hi, Joanie! I used to feel like a good multitasker until I had my daughter. Now I'm all over the place. :)
Hi, Marianne! No excuses here. I'm plugging along just switching projects. :) I'd love to have your brain.
Keri, that's wonderful news about Pinked!
As far as the two novel thing goes, my plan was to work on one for Jano and revise another in the afternoons. However... I'm mixing the two voices, not so much when I'm writing, but when I'm incubating during the day, which is when my real creative process, for what that's worth, goes on.
Yay for Pinked excitement!

lol, me too. When C and I were revising GGG housecleaning ... well ... I don't want to say how bad it got just in case my mother ever finds this :)
I say stick with PINKED for now. There's always February for the new project.
How? It's called A.D.D.!!!!!!!
:D
Hi, Jen! I know exactly what you mean about incubating and mixing voices.. That's exactly why I can't swing it. While playing Barbies on the floor and coloring, I think about the story. :)
Hi, Edeevee! I'm glad I'm not the only one and in great company. :)
Hi, Groovyoldlady! :)
